We offer free worldwide Priority shipping on all orders. No hidden costs or surprise delivery fees will be added at checkout.
- All orders are dispatched from within the European Union (EU) within 24 hours on business days.
- Shipments are sent via Priority Mail.
- To ensure maximum convenience, shipments are delivered directly to your provided address and typically do not require a signature, confirmation, or identity verification upon delivery.
- Packaging is entirely plain and discreet.

1.4 Customs, Duties, and Taxes (Non-EU Orders)
Because all items are shipped from the European Union, international orders delivered outside the EU—including but not limited to the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia—may be subject to local import duties, Value Added Tax (VAT), customs clearance fees, or other local taxes.
These charges are determined entirely by your destination country’s customs authority. The customer is solely responsible for paying any such duties and taxes upon delivery.
1.5 Unclaimed Packages and Refusal of Customs Fees
- As a standard rule, orders are delivered straight to your address. However, if exceptional circumstances require you to collect the package from a local postal hub, you are responsible for retrieving it.
- If a package is returned to us or destroyed because the customer refused to pay local customs fees/taxes, or failed to collect the package after a delivery attempt, The Smelling Salts Company OÜ considers its delivery obligation fulfilled.
- In such cases, the customer will not be entitled to a full refund. Any costs, shipping fees, or return penalties incurred by The Smelling Salts Company OÜ due to the package being abandoned, rejected, or returned will be deducted from any potential partial refund.
2. 30-Day Satisfaction and Return Policy
We offer a 30-day satisfaction and return guarantee. You have 30 days from the date of receiving your product to request a return.
- Testing the Product: Our smelling salts arrive fully activated, and we encourage you to test the product to experience its strength. Testing the product does not void your return right.
- Product Condition: To qualify for a full refund, the product must be returned in the exact cosmetic condition it arrived. It must be free of scratches, dents, marks, or any other signs of external damage, and the content must remain intact.
- Return Shipping: Return shipping is fully paid and arranged by the customer (customer-funded). You must contact support@smelling-salts.com to obtain the correct, designated return shipping address before sending any items back.
3. 5-Year Product Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our smelling salts. We provide a 5-year functionality warranty on our products, subject to the following conditions:
- The product must be handled, used, and stored according to our instructions.
- The bottle must be sealed tightly and immediately after every single use.
- It must be stored in environmental conditions specified in the product guide.
When used correctly and closed promptly after opening, our smelling salts can remain functional for a lifetime, even with daily use. The warranty does not cover issues resulting from leaving the bottle open, improper storage, or physical damage to the container.
4. Manufacturing Defects and Shipping Issues
If your product arrives damaged, has a clear manufacturing defect, or if there is an issue with your delivery, you must contact us immediately at support@smelling-salts.com.
- Please keep and preserve the original shipping packaging and the product, as we may request photos or evidence to inspect the claim.
- We handle defect claims on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the situation, we will either:
- Provide a prepaid shipping label for you to return the item, OR
- Ship a replacement product to you completely free of charge, OR
- 3Issue a full refund.
5. Limitation of Liability
The Smelling Salts Company OÜ shall not be held liable for any delays in delivery caused by courier errors, customs delays, force majeure, or any circumstances outside of our reasonable control. Our products are highly potent; the customer assumes full responsibility for using the product safely and according to the safety labels provided.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Estonia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Estonia.
